The Club at Mexico Beach Home Owners’ Association, Inc. (Club) is a Florida not for profit corporation. Its primary purpose is running the condominium association at a four-story, forty-eight unit condominium building at 1302 Highway 98, Mexico Beach, Florida 34210 (Condo). Unfortunately, like so many others, the Condo sustained catamorphic damage from Hurricane Michael in October of 2018. The Club then spent the next 3.5 years dealing with contracts and insurance company in the wake of the Hurricane as it believes very strongly in the quality of life it provides for its residents. Recently the Club filed for chapter 11 subchapter v bankruptcy as Case No. 22-50024-KKS in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Florida, Panama City Division (the Bankruptcy). The Club believes the Bankruptcy will provide a vehicle to reorganize even stronger and continue to service the Condo.
