About Andrew
Andrew Wit is an indefatigable advocate for his clients. He strives to provide zealous, detail-oriented, and personalized services for his clients.
Andrew is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the navigation department of a nuclear-powered submarine in support of special operations and land attack missions critical to the safety of the United States and its allies.
Prior to joining Jennis Law, Andrew worked in the bankruptcy department of an AmLaw 200 law firm where he gained experience litigating highly contentious bankruptcy and other commercial disputes throughout the United States. Thereafter, Andrew formed Wit Law, PLLC and focused his practice on business law, bankruptcy, and complex litigation. Andrew’s experience consists of representing bankruptcy trustees, victims of ponzi schemes, debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and prosecuting and defending fraudulent transfer actions. From his employment during and after law school, Andrew also gained experience in auto accident, premises liability, and medical malpractice matters.
During law school, Andrew served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Andrew also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew, Honorable William F. Jung, and Honorable Julie S. Sneed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. These experiences provided Andrew with critical insight into the operations of federal courts.
Andrew lives in Seminole Heights and is active within his community. When he isn’t working, Andrew is an avid golfer, wine collector, and enjoys exploring Tampa Bay with his golden retrievers, Colby and Hurley.
